Heard from a friend yesterday talking about illegal dog fight in USA.. decided to blog about it..

 Since the acient Roman times, dog has been used as an entertainment tools to fight against other animals (eg bulls, bear, etc). It was introduced to America in 1817 and dog fight became part of American culture. It was until 1976, dog fight became illegal in all America states.

The dogs are trained against one another and against older, more experienced dogs. In the early stages of training, the dogs are incited to lunge at each other without touching and engage in quick, controlled fights called “rolls” or “bumps.” Once the dogs appear match ready, they are pitted against stronger dogs to test their “gameness”or tenacity in the face of exhaustion and impending defeat. If the dogs pass the test, they are deemed ready to fight.

Oh.. lastly.. in dog fights, dogs are not the only victims.. many small animals like cats, rabbit were used as baits to training and incite the dog to fight..

Don’t understand why the richer a person is.. the more stingy he becomes..

 There’s just so many people in this world cheating on their taxes.. you earn so much yet wanna cheat on the taxes you ought to pay.. haiz.. mind you Singapore is one of the lowest tax country in the region.. just pay what you need to pay..

This country can be so  much better with your contribution man.. It can do so much more for the poor and needy with your taxes..

 Jesus said: “pay to Caesar what is due to him…”

One question that I have always asked myself.. Do I like my job? Do I enjoy what I’m doing…

 Most of the time, people do not like their work.. trying hard to keep in a job.. so I reason out some possibility why people would stay in a job they don’t like

1. Just to make a living

2. Career seeker, striving to be a successful career man/woman

3. It’s the “In” industry to be in

4. Has been in the industry for many years, don’t want to change

5. Bo chap!! Just work and pass by days

6. Been studying the field for years, so don’t want to waste all these years of study

7. Heavily in debts, other financial commitment

8. Lack of confidence to venture out

 No wonder some people will have monday blue, faking MC and got burnt out..

Choose a job that you like, you will enjoy going to work with no struggles.. I love my job man…

 Had a friend who always say this.. “if you win a rat race; you are still a rat”.. I think what he say is quite true..

 Love your job guys.. mental satisfaction is always more rewarding than monetary satisfaction.

Just went to had my lunch at Hougang.. found a very nice Char Siew rice with a name Wu Luo Shu Shi (Bedok Cooked Food)

the food is good but the serving is a bit small.. haiz.. think i need to buy two plate just to full my poor tummy.. heehee…
